As what can be inferred from what you wrote, Catholics would have to be introduced to the joys of Holy Smoke once more!<br /><br />I believe the unique charism of Anglican Roman Catholics (Ordinariate Catholics as some in your Ordinariate would have it!) is that these liturgical things of great beauty and majesty will be restored to the wider Church with that important aspect called "Anglican moderation". Anglican moderation is part of the patrimony.<br /><br />Allow me to give an example. In the Philippines, the restoration of the Latin Mass has met with not a fair bit of opposition in the wake of Summorum Pontificum. It is not that Catholics are against the Latin Mass (in fact many recognize the beauty of the old liturgy and how this can be restored in the new liturgy) but that the promoters of the Latin Mass do not have that moderation.<br /><br />We need moderation.Ben Vallejohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02963290696331676531noreply@blogger.com
